Carrie Pfeifer serves as an Adjunct Graduate Faculty member at Martin Luther College (MLC) and holds the title of Professor of Education and Learning Disabilities Coordinator at Bethany College. She teaches courses such as Diversity in Education in MLC's graduate program and has previously instructed post-baccalaureate classes like Understanding Autism Spectrum Disorders and Human Relations.

Her research and professional focus centers on supporting students with learning differences, informed by her 2003 doctoral dissertation analyzing educational support programs in WELS secondary schools. She previously led the Learning Resources program at St. Croix Lutheran High School and Middle School, addressing students' learning needs while also teaching English and overseeing student residences.
Dr. Pfeifer emphasizes her passion for inclusive education and praises MLC's teacher education programs. She collaborates with her husband, Gene Pfeifer, who serves as Bethany Lutheran College's president and MLC graduate school faculty member.
