Carrie A. Bulger is a Professor of Psychology at Quinnipiac University with an affiliate appointment in the Department of Medical Studies. She joined the university in Fall 2000 after earning her PhD and MA in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from the University of Connecticut, along with a BA from the University of Minnesota-Morris. Dr. Bulger teaches courses such as I-O Psychology, Occupational Health Psychology, and the Psychology Capstone course for majors.

Her research focuses on employee stress, health, and well-being, particularly how work and non-work demands intersect and the impact of smartphone technology on work-life boundaries. She advocates for science communication through public speaking and media engagements.
Dr. Bulger is actively involved in professional organizations, including the Society for Industrial-Organizational Psychology, the Society for Occupational Health Psychology, and the Academy of Management. She currently serves as Editor-in-Chief for the Journal of Managerial Psychology.
