Carolyn Rusiecki

Dr. Carolyn Rusiecki is an Adjunct Professor in the Physician Associate Program at Berry College, where she contributes her expertise in neurologic physical therapy and clinical education. She is also actively involved in clinical practice at Atrium Health Floyd in outpatient neurologic rehabilitation.

Her research interests focus on gait analyses and interventions post-stroke, vestibular management in complex patient populations, and spasticity management in neurologic disorders. Dr. Rusiecki is a board-certified Neurologic Clinical Specialist (NCS) and holds certifications in dry needling and LSVT Big. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, the Georgia chapter, and the Academy of Neurologic Physical Therapy.

She has precepted physical therapy students and served as an adjunct professor at Mercer University’s Doctor of Physical Therapy program, demonstrating a commitment to physical therapy education. Her clinical experience spans inpatient/acute rehabilitation (2019–present) and outpatient rehabilitation (2018–2019, 2024–present).
