Carolyn A Bergstrom

Carolyn A Bergstrom is a Professor of Marine Biology in the School of Arts and Sciences at the University of Alaska Southeast. Her research focuses on evolutionary ecology, morphometrics, and ecological interactions in marine species.

A key project examines the evolution of asymmetry in starry flounders, revealing ecological segregation between left- and right-eyed morphs. Another collaborative study funded by EPSCoR Alaska and Alaska Sea Grant explores glacial estuary fish community dynamics.
