Caroline de Jonge

Caroline de Jonge serves as Senior Lecturer at Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences' Rotterdam Business School (RBS), where she has shaped Business Administration education for 27 years since joining in 1990. Her expertise centers on didactic innovation and pedagogical leadership within professional development frameworks.

Her educational background includes a Master's degree in Learning and Innovation, completion of the Pedagogy Program and SKE (Skilled Education) program, and specialized certifications as Visual Coach and Internal Trainer. These qualifications underpin her research-driven approach to classroom methodology.

De Jonge leads the integration of High Expectations philosophy across RBS curricula, focusing on students' strategic strengths within the Starting (Business) Professional course. Her participatory research examines how personalized professional development boosts motivation for both students and educators through structured interventions and weekly calibration sessions with teaching teams.

Currently training two teacher cohorts in this methodology, she implements High Expectations directly in first-year instruction to create self-reinforcing motivation cycles. Her work involves 15 colleagues in sequential intervention analysis to refine this coaching philosophy across Business Administration programs.
