Caroline Light is a Senior Lecturer and Director of Undergraduate Studies in the Program in Studies of Women, Gender, and Sexuality at Harvard University. Her research focuses on histories of citizenship, belonging, and gendered racial dynamics in the United States, particularly within Jewish immigrant communities in the South and the evolution of lethal self-defense laws.
