Caroline Childe

Caroline Childe is an Associate Lecturer in Musical Theatre (BA(Hons)) at Falmouth University. She holds a BMus from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama (1995), postgraduate studies at the same institution (1998) and the National Opera Studio (1999), and Estill Levels 1 & 2 certification (2019). Her career spans 15+ years as a professional opera and oratorio soloist, performing in major venues like the Royal Albert Hall and collaborating with the BBC. She currently teaches singing technique at institutions including PPA Guilford and her private studios in London and Cornwall. Additionally, she specializes in integrating movement and mindfulness into performer training, having qualified as a mindfulness teacher with Mindfulness Now and achieving Yoga teacher certifications (Levels 1-2).

Professional Engagement: Affiliated with Estill International and Vocal Process. Active in curriculum development for musical theatre programs.

Teaching & Studios: Maintains private singing studios in London and Cornwall, emphasizing holistic performer development. Previously taught at PPA Guilford.
