Caroline Bradbury-Jones is a Professor of Gender Based Violence and Health at the University of Birmingham’s School of Nursing and Midwifery. As a registered nurse, midwife, and health visitor, her work focuses on addressing health inequities through research on family violence, child abuse/neglect, and interventions for survivor populations.
- Research Interests: Centered on domestic abuse, sexual violence, forced marriage, FGM/C, and qualitative methodologies applied to global health contexts.
- Projects: Currently leads studies with the NIHR Global Health Research Group, HOME Office, and NHS England related to violence prevention and mental health workforce gaps.
- 2023 Award: Received the Outstanding Impact in Practice Change prize for contributions to domestic abuse policy.
- Publications: Over 162 research outputs including scoping reviews, co-produced studies, and national service evaluations.
