Carolina Da Motta

Carolina Da Motta is a Lecturer and Assistant Professor at Universidade Lusófona Lisboa, with roles including Director of the Master's in Forensic Psychology and Coordinator of Curricular Internships in Forensic Psychology. She is a member of the Integrated Digital Human-Environment Interaction Lab and collaborates with the University of Coimbra's CINEICC (Center for Research in Neuropsychology and Cognitive and Behavioral Intervention).

• Education: Mestrado Integrado em Psicologia, PhD in Psychology (2020) focusing on schizophrenia endophenotypes, and certifications in Digital Transformation and Machine Learning from MIT.
• Research Interests: Clinical psychology, forensic psychology, emotional regulation, psychometric scale development, neurocognitive and behavioral studies in schizophrenia and multiple sclerosis, and trauma-related disorders.
• Academic Contributions: Over 47 journal articles, 11 book chapters, and 4 books. She co-supervises doctoral theses and multiple master's dissertations, with 20 completed supervisees.
• Projects: Actively involved in funded and non-funded research as a Research Fellow, Co-PI, and PI. Projects include stress in multiple sclerosis, emotional intelligence in adolescence, and adaptation of psychological scales.
