Carolin Zieringer

Carolin Zieringer is a Research Fellow at the University of Bremen's Graduiertenkolleg Contradiction Studies, focusing on the intersection of radical democratic theory and feminist/crip perspectives. She has held positions at Goethe University Frankfurt, TU Darmstadt, and Goldsmiths College London.

Her recent work explores contradictions in democratic subjectivity, care labor, and bodily agency. She has received the Pat-Caplan-Award for her thesis on gendered space in boxing and contributes to debates on de-coloniality and affective dissent. She has supervised multiple theses on intersectionality, security studies, and reproductive work.
