Carole Goble is a Professor in Information Management at the University of Manchester. She leads research on semantic technologies, workflow management systems, and data-intensive e-Science, with applications spanning Life Sciences, Health Informatics, and Digital Libraries. Her work bridges computer science and scientific practice, focusing on interoperability, metadata, and virtual research environments.
