Dr. Carole Anderson is the Director of the Psychology Program Development and Assistant Professor of Psychology at Burman University. She holds a PhD in Counselling Psychology from Andrews University (1995), alongside MA and BSc degrees in related fields. Her expertise spans counselling psychology, trauma therapy, and strategic planning in education and human services. She maintains a private practice focusing on adult and couple therapy, specializing in depression, anxiety, trauma, and relationship issues.
Her professional activities include strategic leadership in K-12 education and presentations at conferences like the 2000 General Conference Session of Seventh-day Adventists. Her research explores ministerial family dynamics and religious commitment, as seen in her doctoral dissertation and subsequent publications.
Anderson operates a multidisciplinary health wellness center and has served in academic roles at Simon Fraser University’s Counselling Services Department. Her work emphasizes holistic well-being integration and organizational strategic development.
