Carol J. Fabian

Carol J. Fabian, MD, is a University Distinguished Professor in the Department of Medical Oncology at the University of Kansas School of Medicine and a leading expert in breast cancer prevention and survivorship research. She directs the Breast Cancer Prevention and Survivorship Research Center and the Breast Cancer Risk Assessment Clinic, specializing in genetic testing, supplemental screening, and risk reduction strategies.

• Education: BA and MD from the University of Kansas, followed by clinical training at Wesley Medical Center and a fellowship in Medical Oncology at the University of Kansas Medical Center.
