Carol A. Mancuso, MD is a Professor of Medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College and Senior Scientist at Hospital for Special Surgery. She serves as Attending Physician at both New York Presbyterian Hospital and Hospital for Special Surgery, with a research focus on patient expectations in musculoskeletal surgery, psychosocial impacts of chronic diseases, and asthma self-management.

- Leadership: Co-Director of the Masters Degree Program in Clinical Epidemiology and Health Services Research at Weill Cornell

- Elective Orthopedic Surgery Expectations: Development of patient-derived surveys for hip, knee, shoulder, and lumbar surgeries
- Connective Tissue Diseases: Longitudinal studies on employment challenges in rheumatoid arthritis patients and physical inactivity in systemic lupus erythematosus
- Asthma Management: Psychosocial interventions to improve self-efficacy and physical activity in asthmatic patients
