Dr Carmel Fleming is a mental health professional and Lecturer at the School of Nursing, Midwifery and Social Work, University of Queensland. She holds a conjoint role with Queensland Health and serves as a senior social worker at the Queensland Eating Disorder Service (QuEDS), where she provides clinical education, supervision, and service development across Queensland. Her work focuses on family-based interventions and low-intensity therapies for eating disorders.

Fleming completed her PhD on family support for adults with eating disorders and maintains a special interest in clinician supervision. She previously led QuEDS’s statewide education program for ten years. Notably, she is available for research supervision, as evidenced by her advisory role in a 2025 PhD project.
