Dr. Carlotta Capurro is an Assistant Professor in Digital Cultural Heritage within the Cultural History section at Utrecht University. She is a historian of art and culture with a focus on digital technologies' impact on heritage institutions.

Her research explores the ethics and politics of digital cultural heritage, focusing on digital archives, data infrastructures, and the Europeanization of heritage practices through platforms like Europeana.
