Carlotta Capuccino is an Associate Professor at the University of Bologna, affiliated with the Department of the Arts. She holds a PhD in Philosophy from the University of Bologna (2010) and has held academic positions including Adjunct Professor of the History of Ancient Philosophy at the University of Ferrara (2008-2011) and a Senior Assistant Professor at the University of Bologna (2019-2022). Her research focuses on Plato's philosophy, the relationship between philosophy and education (paideia), and the role of writing and Socratic dialogues.

She also leads the Rodolfo Mondolfo Seminars and organizes international conferences on ancient philosophy.
