Carlos Teofilo Lopez Arroyo

Carlos Teofilo Lopez Arroyo is an Associate Professor in the Department of Integrated Didactics at the Faculty of Education, Psychology and Sports Sciences, University of Huelva. His research focuses on Didactics of Social Sciences, with a particular emphasis on heritage education and its role in professional teacher development.

He earned his PhD from the University of Huelva through a thesis titled Heritage in the school context: analysis of conceptions as a vehicle for professional teacher development, which explored teaching practices within the heritage environment of Farmington Junior High in Utah (2017). His work bridges cultural heritage with pedagogical strategies in social sciences education.
