معرفی
Carlos Neftaly Lozano Andrade is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Department of Biotechnology and Biomedicine, Technical University of Denmark (DTU). His work focuses on microbial ecology, secondary metabolite production, and synthetic communities within the Center for Microbial Secondary Metabolites. He investigates interactions between bacteria like Bacillus subtilis and other organisms, including fungi and soil microbiota.
Research areas:
- Plant-microbe interactions for growth promotion
- Secondary metabolite regulation in Bacilli
- Synthetic community engineering
- Bacterial adaptation to fungal environments
- Iron competition in microbial antagonism
- Biotransformation pathways
In recent publications, he explores surfactin's role in community establishment, interspecies metabolic competition, and microbial surface colonization. His work contributes to Sustainable Development Goals related to sustainable agriculture and life below ground.
