Carlos Martel Escobar

Carlos Martel Escobar serves as a Professor in the Department of Mathematics Applied to Aerospace Engineering at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid since June 30, 2009, and is a longstanding member of the Nonlinear dynamics and stability in aerospace engineering research group since June 14, 2005.

His research spans Aerospace Engineering and Applied Mathematics with concentrated expertise in Nonlinear Dynamics, Acoustics, and Statistical Physics. He investigates complex phenomena including stability in aerospace systems, statistical mechanics applications, and acoustic wave propagation through advanced mathematical modeling.

Within his research group, he drives interdisciplinary projects focusing on nonlinear stability analysis in aerospace contexts, leveraging mechanics of materials and condensed matter physics principles to address real-world engineering challenges.
