Carlos Javier Egio Rubio

Carlos Javier Egio Rubio is a part-time Researcher at the Department of Geography, Faculty of Arts and Humanities, University of Murcia. His academic background includes a Doctorate from Universidad Complutense de Madrid (2015), with a thesis titled Conflicto rural-urbano en una ciudad en expansión: estudio de las resistencias en los corregimientos de Medellín (Colombia), supervised by Dr. Tomás Rodríguez-Villasante Prieto.

His research focuses on Human Geography, particularly urban-rural conflict dynamics, citizenship through artistic practices, and social movements.
