Carlos Esplugues Mota is a Professor in the Department of International Law at the University of Valencia, specializing in Private International Law, International Commercial Arbitration, and EU Law. His work focuses on mediation, foreign investment controls, family law, and the interplay between security and international trade. He has authored over 50 articles and books, including works on the EU's regulatory framework for foreign investments and the application of foreign law in Ibero-America.
