Dr. Carlos Cueto Mondejar is a Lecturer in AI and Fluid Flow Imaging at the Department of Earth Science & Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Imperial College London. His research focuses on translating seismic technology to medical ultrasound imaging of brain structure, particularly using full-waveform inversion (FWI). He leads the development of Vector Field Inversion (VFI), enabling high-resolution 3D blood flow imaging in the brain. He is the lead developer of Stride, an open-source library for high-resolution ultrasound tomography.
