Carla Tilchin

Carla Tilchin, PhD, MSPH, is an Assistant Scientist at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, affiliated with the Department of Health Policy and Management and the Johns Hopkins Center for Gun Violence Solutions. She is a mixed methods researcher focused on community gun violence, criminal-legal system reform, and sexual health equity.

Dr. Tilchin earned her PhD (2024) and MSPH (2017) from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and a BS from Bates College (2013).
