Dr. Carla MacLean is a Professor at Kwantlen Polytechnic University's Department of Psychology, holding a PhD in Experimental Psychology from the University of Victoria and a Post-Doctoral Research Fellowship from Simon Fraser University. Her research merges Forensic Psychology and Occupational Health Psychology, focusing on cognitive bias in professional decision-making during workplace investigations and eyewitness recall.

Recent publications examine confirmation bias in organizational justice, expectation congruency effects, and hindsight bias in legal contexts. Collaborations with Dr. Itiel Dror and Dr. Gary Wells highlight her interdisciplinary approach.
