Carla Adkison-Johnson

Carla Adkison-Johnson is a Professor in the Department of Counselor Education and Counseling Psychology at Western Michigan University. Her work focuses on preparing future counselor educators, clinical mental health practices, and culturally responsive approaches to child discipline in African American families. She holds a Ph.D. from Kent State University, an M.S. from the University of Dayton, and a B.S. from the University of Akron.
