Carl E. Allen

Carl E. Allen, M.D., Ph.D., is a Professor in the Department of Pediatrics-Oncology at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX. He serves as Co-Director of the Pediatric Cancer Program at the Dan L. Duncan Comprehensive Cancer Center and holds leadership roles in the Lymphoma and Histiocytosis Programs. Additionally, he directs research for Global HOPE, focusing on improving pediatric cancer and blood disorder care in Sub-Saharan Africa.

Education: He earned an MD-PhD from Ohio State University College of Medicine (2002), a BS from Duke University, and completed residency at Columbus Children's Hospital (2005) and a fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine (2008).

Research focuses on clinical and translational strategies for histiocytic disorders, lymphomas, and lymphoproliferative disorders in children.
