Carl Andreas Lindstrøm is a Researcher at the Department of Physics at the University of Oslo, leading the SPARTA (ERC Starting Grant) project. His research focuses on plasma-based colliders, including the Hybrid Asymmetric Linear Higgs Factory (HALHF), transverse instabilities, and nonlinear plasma lenses. He conducts experiments at FACET-II (SLAC, USA), FLASHForward (DESY, Germany), and CLEAR (CERN, Switzerland).
- M.Sc. and M.A. (Cantab), University of Cambridge (2009–2013)
- Ph.D., University of Oslo (2014–2019)
- Visiting Ph.D. at CERN (2017–2018) and SLAC (2015–2016)
His research spans plasma accelerators for strong-field quantum electrodynamics, staging mechanisms, and emittance preservation. Key projects include the Hybrid Asymmetric Linear Higgs Factory and nonlinear plasma lenses.
