Caress A. Dean, MPH, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor and Chairperson of the Department of Public and Environmental Wellness at the School of Health Sciences, Oakland University. She is based in the Human Health Building in Rochester, Michigan, and plays a key role in academic leadership, teaching, and research in public health.
