Caoimhe Mader McGuinness is Senior Lecturer in Drama and Course Leader for BA Drama at Kingston University. Her research examines theatre's political dimensions through Marxist, feminist, queer, and post-colonial frameworks, analyzing contemporary British and French performance.
Current projects compare cultural festivals as expressions of national identity and investigate 'cartoon theatre' as political commentary. McGuinness teaches critical approaches to performance and drama history.
