Candace Egan

Candace Egan is a Professor of Film and Media Arts at California State University, Fresno, and Director of the MCJ Multimedia Production Service. With over 40 years of experience in video production—including television news, documentaries, and corporate media—she specializes in client video production and multimedia practicum courses.

Her research focuses on narrative and television screenwriting, documentary production, and curriculum design. Recent works explore innovative storytelling techniques in both film and television formats.

Egan has received over 40 national awards for her creative projects and fellowships from prestigious institutions including the Stowe Story Labs and Western Knight Center for Specialized Journalism.

As Director of the MCJ Multimedia Production Service, she oversees student-led media projects for regional organizations like Sanger Unified School District and the Italian Heritage Museum.
