Camilo Zaks

Dr. Camilo Zaks serves as Clinical Associate Professor of Family Medicine and Medical Director for Street Medicine at Keck School of Medicine, University of Southern California. A graduate of Harvard University (Anthropology) and USC Medical School, he completed residency at Contra Costa Regional Medical Center. His career spans clinical practice, medical education, and health system leadership.

Clinical and research interests focus on street medicine implementation, healthcare for vulnerable populations, women's health services, and medical education reform. Develops curricula in clinical procedures, ultrasound, and quality improvement methodologies.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, led San Fernando Valley's testing and vaccination campaigns through iterative improvement cycles. Currently expanding street medicine initiatives to improve healthcare access for homeless populations.
