Camille Yale is an Associate Professor of Communication at Lake Forest College, where she also serves as Chair of Journalism (spring). She holds a PhD from the Institute of Communications Research at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, an MA from the University of Illinois at Chicago, and a BS from Ohio University. Her research focuses on critical media studies, political economy of media industries, global media practices, and new media technologies. Her work often examines the intersection of media history, globalization, and cultural politics.
