Camille Mellin

Dr. Camille Mellin is an ARC Future Fellow and Research Fellow in the School of Biological Sciences at the University of Adelaide, within the Faculty of Sciences, Engineering and Technology. She specializes in quantitative ecology and ecological modelling, focusing on marine ecosystems, particularly coral reefs. Her work addresses ecosystem resilience to disturbances, climate change impacts, and the interplay between social-ecological systems and human well-being. She is affiliated with the University of Adelaide’s Ecology and Evolutionary Biology department and actively supervises Masters and PhD students in marine conservation and ecological modelling.

Research Interests: Dr. Mellin’s research blends theoretical and empirical approaches to study ecological processes at multiple scales, from individual organisms to entire ecosystems. She investigates how biodiversity supports ecosystem services, particularly in marine environments, and develops methods to project future ecological changes using climate models and geospatial analysis.
