Camille Marchet

Camille Marchet is a CNRS Research Fellow in the BONSAI team at CRIStAL (University of Lille), specializing in sequence bioinformatics algorithms and data structures for genomic applications. Her research develops methods for efficient processing of DNA/RNA sequencing data.

Research focuses on k-mer based indexing structures for large-scale genomic datasets, with applications in RNA-seq analysis and cancer genomics. Projects include Transipedia (ANR-funded RNA-seq indexing) and INSSANE (INSERM project on RNA structures).

Marchet teaches data structures courses and mentors PhD students. She leads the Find-RNA ANR project and contributes to multiple international collaborations on pangenomics and transcriptomics.
