Camilla Pimentel

Camilla Pimentel is an Assistant Professor at UMass Chan Medical School in the Department of Population and Quantitative Health Sciences, with joint appointments in Health Informatics and Implementation Science. Her research focuses on improving care quality for older adults through telemedicine innovations and patient safety initiatives.

Her expertise spans geriatric telehealth implementation, nursing home quality improvement, and health services evaluation. Current projects examine telemedicine adoption barriers for rural veterans and safety protocol development for clinical teams.
