Camilla Colombo

Camilla Colombo is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Applied Ethics department of RWTH Aachen University. She earned her PhD in Philosophy of Science from the London School of Economics in 2019, focusing on causal models in the justification of the Doing/Allowing distinction. Her research spans applied ethics and decision theory, examining cognitive foundations of decision-making, moral heuristics, and cooperation mechanisms.

Her work integrates experimental philosophy with theoretical analysis, particularly through collaborations with institutions like the PhiLab for Experimental Philosophy at the University of Milan and the IMT School of Advanced Studies Lucca. She explores how moral principles function as decision aids in complex scenarios.
