Camilla Bruerberg is a Research Fellow (currently on leave) at Oslo National Academy of the Arts. She graduated from the institution in 2008 and is pursuing doctoral research focused on digital knitting technology and material exploration.

Through her research project "SOFT CONSTRUCT. Not the style, but the space," she investigates the relationship between materials, clothing, and spatial environments. Her work bridges traditional textile practices with digital innovation, exploring how materiality and shape can transform our understanding of textiles in contemporary contexts. Her methodology combines artistic practice with technological experimentation to push the boundaries of textile design.
Her recent artistic output demonstrates a consistent focus on material properties and digital fabrication techniques:
- "0011" (2019) exhibited at the Norwegian Knitting Industry Museum in Bergen
- "The thing in question - thread, surface and beyond" (2019) museum exhibition
Her work has been featured in publications including "FASHION KNITWEAR" by Laurence King Publishing.
