Camilah Powell

Camilah Powell is an Assistant Professor at the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA), affiliated with the Klesse College of Engineering and Integrated Design. She holds dual appointments in the Departments of Biomedical Engineering and Chemical Engineering.

• Ph.D. in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering (2020) from Rice University, Houston, TX
• B.Sc. in Engineering Science (2014) from Trinity University, San Antonio, TX

Her research focuses on interdisciplinary areas at the intersection of biomedical and chemical engineering, with an emphasis on biomaterials and regenerative medicine. These fields aim to develop innovative solutions for medical challenges through material design and engineering principles.
