Cameron J Kiersch serves as an Assistant Professor in the School of Nursing at Viterbo University, where he has been a faculty member since 2017.

Dr. Kiersch's research spans critical interdisciplinary domains at the intersection of nursing, public health, and environmental science. His expertise in Death, Grief and Bereavement addresses palliative care challenges, while his work on Healthcare Delivery Systems and Health Policy examines structural frameworks for equitable care. Notably, he investigates Health Impacts of Climate Change on vulnerable populations, integrates Gerontology principles for aging populations, and applies the One Health approach recognizing connections between human, animal, and environmental health.
