Dr. Camagna Foley is a Lecturer in the Psychology Department at San José State University (SJSU). She has been a faculty member since 1994, teaching courses such as Psychology of Prejudice, General Psychology, Psychology of Adolescence, and Writing Workshop. She developed SJSU’s first Community Mental Health and Women’s Health courses and served as Undergraduate Director in the Health Science Department (2002–2005). Her research focuses on human development, geropsychology, and women’s health/wellness.
Education: PhD in Developmental/Organizational Psychology from University of San Francisco (1998), Certificate in Applied Gerontology from SJSU (1994).
Professional activities include roles on the Student Health Service Advisory Committee, Santa Clara County Elder Abuse Task Force, and Santa Clara Unified Older Adult Program. She was president of the Bench and Bar League of Santa Clara County and remains active in national/regional psychology associations.
