Calvin R. Walker is an Instructor II in the Department of Aerospace Engineering at Mississippi State University (MSU). He holds a B.S. (1988) and M.S. (2006) in Aerospace Engineering from MSU. His professional experience includes roles in C-17 Flight Test at McDonnell Douglas and work on composite aircraft components at Global Aircraft. Currently, he advises the Student UAS Team and has been affiliated with the Raspet Flight Research Laboratory. His teaching focuses on unmanned aircraft systems, aircraft design, and flight mechanics.

Research Interests: Mr. Walker specializes in unmanned aircraft systems, composite fabrication, and aircraft flight mechanics. His work bridges academic research with industry applications, including the development of lightweight composite structures and advanced flight testing methodologies.

Advising & Labs: He mentors the Student UAS Team and has collaborated with the Raspet Flight Research Laboratory on flight dynamics projects. His teaching spans undergraduate courses in aircraft design, performance, and unmanned systems.
