Caleb Petry is a Model Development Research Associate at the Pardee Institute for International Futures, part of the University of Denver. His work focuses on extending and improving the International Futures (IFs) model, particularly in bilateral interactions, and he contributes to the Diplometrics Program and other research initiatives. He joined the institute as a Research Assistant in 2015 and has worked on diverse topics including severe acute malnutrition (SAM), power projection, interstate conflict, and the Formal Bilateral Influence Capacity (FBIC) model.

Research Interests:
Caleb’s research explores the role of relevancy in international conflict, linkages between economic development and conflict, and the assessment of long-term forecasting models. Recent projects involve integrating the Formal Bilateral Influence Capacity (FBIC) into IFs for applications with the Stimson Center.
