Dr. Caleb Oladipo serves as the inaugural Snellings Chair of Christian Evangelism and Mission at Campbell University Divinity School and directs the Braswell World Religions and Global Cultures Center. A Nigerian-born scholar shaped by Baptist missionary work, he holds leadership roles in global religious dialogue and African theological studies.
His academic journey includes:

- Master’s in Sacred Theology (Charles W. Forman Scholar) from Yale University Divinity School (1988)
- Ph.D. in Theological Studies from Baylor University (1993)
Oladipo’s research centers on the organic development of Christianity in African contexts, particularly examining Yoruba Indigenous Christian Movements and the intersection of theological identity with political liberation. His work bridges missiology, cultural anthropology, and postcolonial theology, emphasizing indigenous agency in religious expression. Key contributions analyze the Holy Spirit’s role in African Christian renewal and the theological foundations for cultural reclamation.
