معرفی
Dr. Cale Miller is an Assistant Professor at Utrecht University's College of Geosciences, specializing in Geochemistry and Marine Biogeochemistry. His research focuses on coastal margin ecosystems, particularly carbon cycling in temperate estuaries and Arctic fjords, with an emphasis on benthic biogeochemical processes and environmental physiology of marine communities.
- Expertise in Ecology, Marine Biology, and Oceanography
- Involved in two major projects: (1) European blue carbon ecosystems assessment (Baltic, Mediterranean, North Atlantic coasts) and (2) ocean alkalinity enhancement effects on oyster development
- Teaches courses:
- Coastal Ecology
- Geochemistry Lab
- GEO3-1308 Geochemical Processes at the Earth's Surface
- Member of Sustainable Oceans leadership team within Utrecht's Pathways to Sustainability research program
