Dr. Caitlynd Myburgh is an Assistant Professor in the Kinesiology program at The King’s University, Canada. She holds a PhD in cardiovascular physiology from North-West University, South Africa, and specializes in hypertension and oxidative stress research. Her work focuses on cardiovascular disease risk in vulnerable populations, including ethnicities, genders, and age groups. She actively participates in the global May Measurement Month campaign to raise hypertension awareness. Dr. Myburgh also seeks to integrate exercise science into her research aligned with King’s Kinesiology program.
