معرفی
Caitlin Moore is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Western Australia (UWA), affiliated with the School of Agriculture and Environment and the Centre for Water and Spatial Science. Her research focuses on ecosystem processes, combining measurement techniques (e.g., eddy covariance, hyperspectral sensing) with modeling to understand climate impacts on native and managed ecosystems. She holds external roles as Regional Ambassador for the Terrestrial Ecosystem Research Network and Communications Officer for OzFlux. Moore earned her PhD in Environmental Science from Monash University, focusing on tropical savanna productivity.
Her research spans bioenergy sustainability, food security, and tropical savanna dynamics. Notable projects include quantifying bioenergy crop viability and improving high-throughput phenotyping for crop cultivars. She has received the 2022 School of Agriculture and Environment Mid-Career Research Award. Current grants include TERN-funded initiatives and collaborations on low-emission agricultural practices. Her work aligns with UN SDGs, emphasizing climate action and sustainable agriculture.
Publications highlight contributions to bioenergy crop modeling, ecosystem stress detection, and phenology analysis. Collaborations span institutions like the University of Illinois and CABBI, advancing global climate resilience strategies.
