Professor Caitlin Byrne serves as Pro Vice Chancellor (Business) at Griffith University and Director of the Griffith Asia Institute. Her research focuses on public diplomacy, international policy, and Australia's strategic engagement in the Asia-Pacific. She holds a PhD from Bond University and has held senior roles in diplomacy, government, and academia. Key interests include climate politics, soft power strategies, and gender equity in diplomacy.
