Caitlin A. Smith

Caitlin A. Smith, MD is a board-certified Associate Professor of Surgery at the University of Washington and a pediatric surgeon specializing in complex colorectal conditions. She co-directs the Reconstructive Pelvic Medicine (RPM) program at Seattle Children’s, a multidisciplinary initiative focused on cloaca, anorectal malformations, and Hirschsprung disease. Dr. Smith also serves as Associate Program Director for the UW general surgery residency, emphasizing resident education.
