Cennet Nur Ünal is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Clinical Sciences at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Bingöl University. She holds a PhD from Fırat University's Department of Internal Medicine (2019-2024), following a veterinary medicine undergraduate degree from Fırat University (2014-2019). Her research focuses on metabolic disorders in livestock, diagnostic biomarkers for cattle and goat diseases, and parasitic infections. She has led or contributed to multiple research projects funded by TÜBİTAK and BAP, including studies on pregnancy toxemia in goats, ketosis in dairy cows, and Theileriosis-induced brain injury.
Her academic contributions include peer-reviewed articles in journals like Small Ruminant Research, The Veterinary Journal, and Large Animal Review. She serves as a referee for the Journal of Applied Animal Welfare Science and Large Animal Review. Her work integrates clinical veterinary practice with advanced diagnostic techniques, emphasizing biomarker discovery and epidemiological analysis in livestock health.
